A 32-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he reportedly reached up a woman’s skirt in a Publix parking lot while she was loading her car with groceries.

Deputies were called to the Publix Super Market at Tradewinds Plaza about 6: 30 p.m. where a woman stated she was in the parking lot when she felt a hand reach under her dress and touch her backside. She turned around and saw a man running away.

The woman gave deputies a description of the suspect, later identified as Dulin Nelson Ebanks, who was quickly found at nearby restaurant. The woman positively identified the man, who denied having been at Publix. Ebanks was taken to jail and charged with battery.

Yesterday was not the first time Ebanks has been arrested in the Keys for touching a woman’s butt. On May 5th of 2015 Ebanks was arrested for pinching the butt of a young girl as she boarded a high school bus on Palmetto Drive on Big Coppitt Key.

Reports state that then 28-year-old Ebanks admitted he was talking to several teenagers at the bus stop and that he had pinched the female high schooler’s butt. He was arrested and jailed. Then State Attorney, Katherine Vogel’s, office dropped the charges, filing a memorandum of “no action” on June 17, 2015.
