“First We Marched. Now We Act.”

Women’s March Florida to host four regional events across the state on January 21st, 2018.

On January 21, 2018, the one-year anniversary of the largest political protest in recent U.S. history, Women’s March Florida will lead a statewide “Day of Action” to bring awareness, support and donations to our nearby sister island communities that were affected this hurricane season; Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Florida Keys.  The event will also focus on expanding voter access and registration, a crucial step towards meaningful change.

Who:     Women’s March Florida members, regional ally organizations and all those dedicated to social justice.

What:    This Day of Action includes various activities in support of hurricane-affected sister island communities, as well as activities to expand voter access and registration.

When:   Sunday, January 21, Time TBA.

Where: Four regional action events across the state of Florida will be held in Miami, Orlando, St. Petersburg, and Jacksonville.
