Sheriff’s Office / Florida Sheriff’s Association Summer Camp

The annual Florida Sheriff’s Association (FSA) Summer Camp, coordinated by the Sheriff’s Office, is wrapping up today at Horace ‘O Bryant School after a week of fun. The camp hosts between 60 and 70 kids each year. The kids spend the week learning all about law enforcement, and get to visit with the Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad, Special Weapons and Tactics Team, Traffic Enforcement, Road Patrol, the Sheriff’s Animal Farm and many other aspects of the agency.

The camp is organized by the Sheriff’s Executive Assistant Donatella Kelly and School Resource Sgt. Eric Mixon. Camp counselors are provided by the FSA.
