LITTLE TORCH KEY – Monroe County Fire Rescue responded at 10:45 Wednesday morning to a fire of two boats that were side-by-side on trailers at a residence on Leeward Road on Little Torch Key.

A crew from Station 13 performed a quick attack, rapidly knocking down the fire. Crews from Station 11 and Station 10 assisted in completely extinguishing the fire. Nobody was injured. The owner of the boats was on scene. Fire Chief James Callahan said the fire has been ruled accidental.
