A huge group of people – including about 30 members of the Sheriff’s Office – turned out last week to clean up the downtown area of the City of Key West. They identified approximately 70 locations where people had painted graffiti and either painted out or cleaned off the unsightly markings. They also scraped stickers off of many street signs, poles and trash containers around the area.
