Fair Insurance Rates in Monroe (FIRM), with the support of Monroe County, is hosting a series of free forums October 13-15 called “Navigating Post-Irma Insurance Claims.” Representatives from FIRM, the Florida Department of Financial Services Division of Consumer Services, FEMA, Citizens Property Insurance Corp., and the Monroe County Bar Association will be on hand to explain processes and policyholder rights and responsibilities and to answer questions from the audience. Representatives from the offices of Congressman Carlos Curbelo, Senator Anitere Flores, and Representative Holly Raschein will also be present at various locations.
