Daniel Ayers, Director of Retail Operations for the Key West Art & Historical Society, recently attended the national Museum Store Association Conference in Hartford, CT, where he was named to the Board of Directors of the National Museum Store Association – Florida Chapter. Ayers, who has been with KWAHS since 2012, is accompanied by his canine companion Jixxer each day at his office and on his rounds of The Society’s museum stores at the Custom House Museum, The Key West Lighthouse & Keeper’s Quarters and Fort East Martello— which were cited for Excellence in Design at the conference.
