City of Key West To Survey Residents
The City of Key West is turning to you – our residents – to shape the future of our community. In the next several weeks, a random sampling of 1200 households will be receiving, in the mail, the 2015 Key West Citizen Survey.
The 5-page questionnaire is designed to measure our community’s livability based on several aspects including the economy, recreation, safety and mobility.
The 2015 Key West Citizen Survey is a way for the City to track its success in serving the community and to prioritize its efforts. The City’s Strategic Plan, crafted by community members and adopted by the City Commission, suggests that regular surveys be conducted as a means of assessing whether or not the City’s goals are being achieved.
Because the mailing is geared at getting feedback from the broadest sampling of residents possible, it’s vital for all of the recipients to respond.
Watch your mailbox in late February and March. And if your household isn’t among the 1200 randomly selected, you’ll still get a chance to weigh in. Once the randomly selected household surveys have been compiled, the entire community will have the opportunity to take the survey online in April.
In the meantime, the City is encouraging everyone who receives a survey to participate. Help us make this community the best it can be!
