CALL FOR POETS

Poets are invited to participate in a contest being offered by the Tennessee Williams Key West Exhibit as part of its March celebration of the author’s birthday. The challenge is to submit a 30 line or less poem about the relationship between Tennessee Williams and his sister and muse Rose or that of Tom and Laura in the play and film “The Glass Menagerie.” A completed registration form, a $20 entry fee, and the poem must be mailed to Tennessee Williams Exhibit, 513 Truman Ave. by March 17. First, second, and third place winners will be chosen by Key West Poetry Guild leaders and will be awarded $100, $75, and $50 respectively and be asked to read their poems at a reception being held at the 513 Truman Avenue on March 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration forms and detailed information are available at twkw.org.
