The Key West Police Athletic League and the Key West Police Department are hosting a Back to School Summer Jammy Jam from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 13th at Nelson English Park.

This free family event is a chance for kids to enjoy hot dogs and burgers, sno-cones and bounce houses. There will be free back-to-school supplies bike helmets and lights There will even be a bike raffle. And parents will appreciate the free haircuts!

Come end your kids’ summer with a jumping good jam.

PAL’s programs are designed to get children involved in sports and in educational programs. It provides a safe place where kids can go after school and on weekends. It encourages teamwork and strong self-esteem. Members of the Key West Police Department donate their time and effort to help with an array of programs that include boxing and basketball. PAL supports computer classes after school and provides entertaining and educational camps during the summer and on holidays.

First incorporated in 1910, PAL is a juvenile crime prevention program that relies heavily on education, athletics and recreational activities to tighten the bond between cops and kids.
