City Manager Jim Scholl and Building Official Ron Wampler this week commended Gerzale “Gigi” Curry-Hill for her 20 years of dedicated service to the City. During this week’s City Commission meeting, they presented her with a gold watch and a City medal honoring her years of service.

“Gigi’s the sort of person that comes in early and stays late,” said Wampler. “She is always there to help.”

“She always has a smile on her face,” said Scholl. “She’s just a great City employee.”

Curry-Hill has brought her positive attitude and helpfulness to a number of City departments, including parking, code, and the building department. She has served as an assistant with HARC, and now she is a permit technician in the building department.

“It’s been a golden 20 years,” said Curry-Hill as she accepted the watch, “and I’m working on ten more.”
