The Author’s Book Fair, presented by Seastory Press, is coming up again on Saturday, February 24th from 10am – 3pm, if you are interested in the work of local authors, please join us at the Oldest House, 322 Duval Street. Decimos – We Say, the new literary magazine for the Florida Keys has released its third issue and continues to seek submissions from local authors. We are also requesting submissions from local visual artists for our cover art. Available in local bookstores and at Decimos.org.
Open Mic on the Air: every Friday night 6-8pm, at B.O.’s Fishwagon, 801 Caroline Street, live on 104.9 The X, the stage is open to any acts wanting exposure. If you don’t have a gig, come get some free air time. Please see our Facebook page for more information.
Key West Poetry Guild Open Mic, Sunday, March 4th at 7pm at 801 Georgia Street. Many thanks to the Unitarians for hosting us while the library receives some renovations. All are welcome to attend, poets are asked only to read their own work. For more information please view our Facebook page.
