Ten Reasons to Get Your JJ Grey & Mofro Concert Tickets Now

JJ Grey

JJ Grey & Mofro is set to grace the Key West stage on Saturday, January 2, 2016 for a family-friendly concert at the historic Fort East Martello’s parade grounds at 3501 S. Roosevelt Blvd.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based band offers audiences a soulful blend of blues, rock, folk, funk, gospel, R&B and Southern-inspired narratives and have been lauded in major media outlets such as New York Times, Wall Street Journal and NPR.

Producer Key West Concerts and host Key West Art & Historical Society offer you ten reasons why you ought to get your tickets for the family-friendly event now.

1. Kick off the New Year with an awesome 7-piece band in one of the island’s coolest outdoor venues with amazing acoustics.

2. Groove to emotive vocals, roots-rock, and funk rave-up all in one show.

3. It’s a great stocking stuffer.

4. Impress your friends with your hip music savvy.

5. Hear their newly released album, Ol’ Glory—an American hybrid of funky grooves, brass-infused anthems, and gospel glory flavored by archival R&B—performed live.

6. You can let your kids play in the “Kid’s Zone” sponsored by Healthy Start and still enjoy the show. Kids twelve and under are free!

7. Another chance to eat, drink, and be merry—a cash bar and select Key West food vendors will be available on the concert’s grounds.

8. You’ll be supporting Key West Art & Historical Society’s educational programs. Partial proceeds from the evening’s show will support these missives.

9. If you don’t do it now, you might forget or be too hungover to motivate on January first. Besides, it costs five dollars more at the door.

10. It’s easy. Go to Keywestconcerts.com. $25 on your card. Bam! Done.
