New work by renowned Key West artist Martha dePoo will be the subject of Key West Art Center Gallery’s first Featured Artist Show of 2016. The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Friday, January 22nd, 5 to 7 pm. The exhibit will be on display from January 22nd through February 3rd.

Martha dePoo, a long-time member of the Key West Art Center and third-generation Key West artist who has mastered the medium of watercolor to express her interpretation of life in Key West. Martha is unparalleled in capturing quintessential Key West street scenes, infused with a vibrant tropical color palette capturing the Florida Keys. Martha’s unique painting style is greatly admired by locals, part-time residents and visitors alike with many collectors returning to purchase new works year after year.

This is the first in a series of Featured Artist shows by member artists at the Key West Art Center, a non-profit community art gallery located at 301 Front Street, and open every day from 10 am to 5 pm.
