Lucy’s Retired Surfers’ Bar & Restaurant Coming to Key West
Establishment Promises Delicious Food & Live Music for Locals
Lucy’s Retired Surfers’ Bar & Restaurant, is coming to Key West. The institution, which celebrates beach culture across the globe, is opening an outpost located at 320 Grinnell St. on September 19th.
Located in Old Town near the historic waterfront, Lucy’s will take the place of the much-beloved Finnegan’s Wake and the short-lived Backspace. General Manager Scott Taylor, a local expert in the restaurant arena, says, “Whether you’re paying your bill at Keys Energy Services across the street or en route from Old Town to New Town, we hope Lucy’s will become the destination for locals to get a drink, grab a meal and have a good time.”
The Lucy’s menu, spearheaded by Chef Dylan Bossier, will provide offerings focusing on fresh & local ingredients including Hogfish, Key West Pink Shrimp, conch & other favorites from the coastal destination.
Entertainment-wise, Lucy’s will have live music beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday nights.
When asked about the overall vision for the establishment, Taylor says he likes “to treat visitors like locals and locals like rock stars.”
Lucy’s will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 till.
Renovations were managed by Contractor Brian Botsfore.
