Library Friends Lecture at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, March 23rd

Political analyst Lou Harris, in conversation with radio host Richard Grusin, is last speaker in this season’s Friends of the Key West Library lecture series—Monday, March 23, 6:00 p.m., at the series’ temporary location, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 401 Duval St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. (A brief Friends of the Library annual members meeting is scheduled for 5:45 p.m.)

Harris will discuss national and international issues with Grusin, and there will be time left for questions from the audience. For more than a half-century, Harris ran one of the best-known polling organizations of his time. He was also chief polling analyst for CBS News, and later ABC News, as well as columnist for the Washington Post, Newsweek, Chicago Tribune and New York Daily News. His highly respected studies have influenced elections, public policy, and social issues. His books include “The Anguish of Change” (1973) and “Inside America” (1987).
