Key West Sunrise Rotary became the first organization to sponsor Florida Keys Community College’s new Game Changer Scholarship. The $8,250 donation will fund 11 scholarships for the 2015-16 academic year. The program provides a path to a free Associate in Arts degree to financially-underserved Monroe County students. Recipients will receive federal and state grants along with local funds to cover 100 percent of tuition and fees with additional money for essential living expenses. Accepting the donation from Sunrise Rotary President Ron Demes were FKCC Trustee Kevin Madok and VP of Advancement Dr. Frank Wood.
