The Zack Seemiller will play the Hog’s Breath Saloon, 400 Front St., Jan. 9, 1 – 5 pm.

Zack was the lead singer with the Groove Yard Band, a popular local band that broke up in the early 2000s.

Zack, who has a voice that reminds many of a young Bob Dylan, said his music is a mixture of folk and rock and, along with his original songs, he draws off an eclectic list of rock ‘n’ roll.

The Hog’s Breath Saloon, 400 Front St. are proud to welcome back Ronnie Johnson from Charleston. Johnson will be on the outdoor stage mid-afternoon, 5:30– 9:30 p.m., Jan. 9 – 15.

Country singer, songwriter and guitarist Ronnie Johnson is on that road to notoriety. For over three decades, the Valdosta, Georgia native has been wowing audiences with his mix of original and cover songs. Ronnie’s resume is seasoned with gigs and jam sessions that would make other budding artists envious.

Ronnie has shared the stage with Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer Chuck Berry in New York City for “People Magazine,” and opened for many big name entertainers including the ageless and legendary Tom Jones. Throughout his lifetime, Ronnie has jammed with the who’s who of session musicians and counts fellow guitarist Jeff Cook, founding member of Alabama as a close friend as well as Grammy Award Winner and Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame recipient Richard Leigh composer of “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue” as well as 7 other #1 songs!

Dave Coleman’s Nashville smart-rock band, “The Coal Men,” play the Hog’s Breath Saloon’s late-shift, 10 p.m.- 2 a.m., Jan. 9 – 15

Dave Colman recently played solo for the mid-shift on the Hog’s outdoor stage, and thrilled his fans with more of his original music and a whole lot of rock ‘n’ roll.

The bands late-night fans have ask for more of the popular Nashville band and this gig is the Hog’s answer.

The band’s CD, “Nowhere’s Too Far,” was called an eclectic rock record that’s a raucous as Saturday night in East Nashville. The band’s new release, Escalator, is out and receiving music praise.

At the Hog’s Breath’s Writers’ Room

Nicolas Tweety will appear Thursday, Jan. 5th, doors open at 8 pm, at the Hog Breath Saloon’s upstairs Writers’ Room. Prices for the unique show for locals with Monroe County ID are $10. Tickets, at the door for others is $20.

Tweedy’s show is not at all what you expect from a magic show. He is a mentalist first and magician second. You are going see some of the most unbelievable demonstrations of levitations, mind-reading and body language interpretation skills in the world.
