This Earth Day, April 22nd, the City of Key West is hosting Earth Day’s Great American Clean Up, a Drive It Home Campaign by Keep Key West Beautiful!

We are looking for volunteers to clean up different parts of the island. We will provide bags and gloves for your clean up. You can register ahead of time or come by Bayview Park any time between 9 a.m. and noon to receive a cleanup location and supplies. Starting at 11a.m. we will have a truck collecting all the bags of stuff you picked up. We will also be giving out towels and bottled water to cleanup volunteers.

We are looking for students to come out to Bayview Park to help with the data collection by sorting stuff picked up into categories, counting and recording findings. There will also be educational activities for everyone. All students: public, private or home school are invited contact us for the details.
