ANNUAL MEETING
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12,
at the Shrimp Road Bar & Grill, Stock Island
Please join us for Florida Keys Green Living and Energy Education’s annual meeting May 12. Meet others interested in Keys’ environmental issues and hear local groups and individuals share their experiences in sustainability.
Topics and speakers include:
- GLEE’s Key West Community Garden – Rick Smith, committee chairman
- Solar Education Association of the Keys – Michael Welber, executive director
- Green Business Program – Alison Higgins, sustainability coordinator, city of Key West
- Grimal Grove – Patrick Garvey, executive director
- Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary’s Team Ocean – Todd Hitchins, Team Ocean coordinator
- GLEE’s Got Your Bags? Florida Keys – Deb Curlee, program co-founder
- Island Hammock Pet Hospital (housing the 2nd. largest solar array in the Keys)- John Kocol
- FKCC environmental club – Dr. Bill Irwin
