February 2017 National Key Deer Refuge Winter Guided Walk/Bike Schedule

Everyone is invited to join our free guided National Key Deer Refuge trail walks and bike rides designed for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. In an effort to keep everyone together, the centralized meeting point will be at the National Key Deer Refuge Visitor’s Center, located in the Winn Dixie shopping plaza on Big Pine Key. All events are family-friendly!

Participants are encouraged to bring a hat, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, water, binoculars, and dress appropriately for the weather. For more information, email the National Key Deer Visitor Center at [email protected]

Saturday, February 11th- 9:00-10:00 am. Guided Walk on the Watson and Mannillo Nature Trails
Saturday, February 18th-9:00-10:00 am. Guided Walk the Watson and Mannillo Nature Trails
Wednesday, February 22nd- 9-11:00 am: No Name Key from pinelands to hardwood hammocks (2 mi.)
Saturday, February 25th- 9:00-10:00 am. Guided Walk on the Watson and Mannillo Nature Trails
Wednesday, Mar. 1st: 9:00-11:00 am Bike- 5 mile ride; rough roads /back streets in Key Deer Refuge
