A Tale Told By Idiots…

We all die. Before we do, shall we strive to authentically live a complete and awakened existence, recognizing our transcendent potential and incorporeal permanence?

Making a fuss over the infinitesimal irregularities existing in the material world, which delusively masquerade themselves as factually important, during our brief stay, is impractical and unproductive.

Living on Park Avenue or a ‘park bench’, the cosmic play proceeds, each one with their part to play. Sustaining and expanding upon a ‘conscious awakening’ via the lessons learned and evolved states of understanding arrived at, before this bag of bones drops, has become a priority.

I’m determined to utilize the gift, or curse of this life, in a manner congruent with the accrued knowledge acquired over a lifetime.

Purporting to be superior, essential, dominant and immortal; sometimes we pretend to be things, that we really aren’t. Deluded by the loveless caretakers and stewards of civilization; strangulating on the filth, hatred and violence we’ve created; the universal principle of ’cause and effect’ has kicked in. Mother Earth and her inhabitants will always render unto one another, in kind.

Diverted from a Self-Realized and Self-Actualized existence, we’ve lost our way. Having taken the ‘singleness of our eye’ off the ball, we swing at air and strike out. Empty, angry and hateful; we must find some way to release and express these pent up reserves of contemptuousness. Domestically and Internationally, viewing a 3 minute segment of the 6 o’clock news will give you a sampling of what I’m talking about.

Is this ‘pain and suffering’ the legacy we want our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be imprisoned within? I’m told evil is, as evil does.

Speaking words of love with our lips, when in fact creating tortuous monstrosities, which traumatize and slaughter the ‘innocence’ of the world, are not the marks of a civilized society. Just what type of beasts and barbarians have some of us become?

During this nation’s last 16 consecutive years of war, covering the presidencies of Bush and Obama, our civilian elected leadership has collectively killed record numbers of children and innocent civilians all over world. During Obama’s first 6 years in office he bombed 7 different nations. The Bureau of Investigative Journalism reports that just in Pakistani and Yemen alone, Obama’s drone strikes killed 4,404 civilians. Furthermore, this investigative body determined that Obama & UK forces carried out another 1,000 drone strikes in Afghanistan. Of importance is the fact that for every alleged terrorist targeted, approximately 28 innocent civilians were murdered. The aforementioned data set forth, is a record of only drone strike killings.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism and ‘Human Rights Watch’, estimate the total number of killings under the Bush regime to be at 1.3 million people; leaving 5 million children orphaned.

When International Law is violated, it takes a ‘just government and people’ possessing integrity and honor, to press forward with the prosecution and punishment of war criminals.

Shakespeare adroitly affirms the ignorance and derangement of our species in his Macbeth:

“Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing”…

Wherever and however it occurs, the result continues to be the same; garbage in, garbage out.

In some circles sick, disturbed and dysfunctional adults have cornered an ‘ideological market of indoctrination’; attempting to censor and silence any scientific and meaningful challenges to their petulance. By whatever means necessary, entering into the most diabolical of relationships, they pursue power and dominance. In too many instances the inmates are running the asylum. They breed their sycophantic minions, all refusing to acknowledge their emperors are naked.

So, here we are. What is one to do? Shall I write a letter finding fault and criticizing other lost souls? Bring my picket sign out to US 1 and stage another protest? Contact the president, governor, attorney general and secretary of state and ‘school them’ on their mistakes? Pay them a personal visit? Arm myself? Start a petition? Or, return to the only reality that has never failed me?

The ‘founding fathers’ pledged their “fortunes, lives and sacred honor”, so that they and their families might have an opportunity to live as a ‘free people’.

In accordance with the God of my understanding, when I’ve advanced prepared and confident, committed as my predecessors, I’ve secured sought after goals and objectives.

For in fact, I wasn’t operating under my own steam; as I was plied into a rough and shabby instrument reflecting a Power greater than myself.

I never thought of myself as having much worth or value. Early in my life I failed in areas only known to God. The struggle has been on, for as long as I can remember.

I did not suffer from an exaggerated sense of self-importance. It was just the opposite. Only with assistance and help, along with a humble acceptance of ‘another way’, was I able to climb from the abyss. However, this action had to be done before any semblance of light entered my life.

It was never fun for myself and later on for my students to live in ‘ignorance and darkness’. I’ve come to realize the world and its inhabitants are suffering, as we once did.

It was amazingly uplifting to read in last week’s edition of “The Blue Paper” an extraordinary article entitled “Positive Discipline”. A picture of a ‘Blissful Child in Meditation’ leads into the story, which empirically attests to the reality of ‘Advanced States of Consciousness & Awareness’, which are available and attainable to us all. Perhaps the time has arrived for students to be re-introduced to the unshackling ‘wisdom of the ages’.

Blessings to ‘Montessori Children’s School’ and Karina Bowders for their inspirational and enlightening gifts.

There is another way. It’s simple and free of charge. It doesn’t require the use of alcohol, drugs, people or feigned laughter; while guaranteeing success and liberation in every way imaginable.

  1. Beautifully written summary of our plight, as always, John.

I am putting my money and hope that humanity answers the call to defund the war machine, into this initiative put forth by Ken O’Keefe. If anyone has the ability, knowledge and compassion to understand exactly how we got into this mess and how we can get ourselves out of it, it is this MAN.

The initiative to defund the war machine is about 85% funded as of today, with only 4 days left…please donate and share!

“Humanity’s challenge at this decisive point in history is to face a monster that is desperately attempting to expand it’s tyrannical system of human enslavement. Simultaneously human consciousness is growing with unparalleled expansion and this is a grave threat to the tyrants. Only one of these forces, humanity or tyranny, can succeed and the world we handover to our children and future generations will be defined by our success or failure in this regard. The irony is that the tyrants have no power but that which we have unwittingly relinquished to them… in order to create a better world we simply need to take our power back. That is my ultimate goal; a better world. My wisdom in this matter comes from the knowledge that the attainment of this goal is not up to me, it is up to us.”

  2. John, The statistical data you provide in this piece is so necessary. Coming from a man who’s whole persona has been formed by his military experience, makes it even more valuable. It is very appreciated. Wouldn’t it be nice if stuff like this appeared on the evening news? Fat chance! Thanks John, Jerome

  3. Sister,

Sincerely value and appreciate your comments. Thank you for your encouragement and compliments. I’ve learned and expanded my consciousness, along with increasing an informational base, as a result of our exchanges.

I believe it’s inevitable, we are evolving and departing from a ‘war machine’ mentality. It will no longer be ‘business as usual’.

As Ken O’Keefe states; ‘humanity and tyranny cannot coexist’.

Again, your insight, wisdom and perceptions provide depth and direction to our discussions. Thank you.

  6. John, Thanks man. I don’t want anyone to think that we simply stroke each others egos. Our dialog is always spirited and sometimes conflictive. We don’t simply yes-man each other. But we always show a healthy respect for each other, which is the key to progress. Keep up the good work, Jerome

  7. Jerome,

Being able to passionately, forcefully and respectfully exchange ideas, which may be ideologically opposed to one another, yet are held dearly close to one’s heart; requires a poise and strength not held by many…

    Blessings & Respect

  8. John, Although there are some differences, I don’t think we are so ideologically opposed. The biggest difference is in how we try to resolve things. ciao, jerome

  9. Blue Paper Editor

Reverently acknowledge your kind words. Because of your esteemed publication, I attempt to bring the best out of myself, so that I might provide our readers with articles of interest.

Thanks for providing an integrity based forum, whereby our citizens and nation may become acquainted with the facts, as they share ideas and engage in meaningful discussions.

  10. Jerome,

Cooperatively working with a divergence of perspectives and positions, from people across the spectrum; by individuals of a Self-Realized and Self-Actualized persuasion, can solve all problems facing humanity….
