Revoredo Named Officer of the Year
Key West Police Chief Donie Lee, in an awards ceremony at the Grand Key Resort yesterday, named Officer Nicholas Revoredo as the Officer of the Year 2016.
Officer Revoredo first came to the Key West Police Department in 2005 as a department-sponsored cadet in the academy. Upon graduation, he was sworn in and began as a road patrol officer. He has also served as a mounted patrol officer and is currently a member of the Marine Unit. He is the point person for our port security operations, and he works very well with the U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies who ensure the safety of our port.
“Officer Revoredo is dependable and reliable,” said Lee. “He consistently and enthusiastically serves this community with dedication and professionalism. Officer Revoredo’s integrity reflects the highest standards of the Key West Police Department. He is an asset to our Department and our community.”
