On Friday final plans will be polished for Key West National Organization for Women’s annual celebration of Women’s Equality Day, marking August 26, 1920 – the day all American women won the right to vote.

The 95th anniversary party, co-hosted by the Lower Keys League of Women Voters, will top the agenda at the monthly NOW meeting, this Friday from 5 till 6 at Shanna Key at the corner of Flagler and Bertha.

All supporters of equality are welcome at the meeting and at the celebration, set for Wednesday, Aug. 26 at the New York Pasta Garden in Duval Square. Special guest will be Supervisor of Elections Joyce Griffin.
