If learning about the island’s holistic and creative business community while sipping on organic tea with like-minded people sounds like an afternoon made for you, The Green Pineapple Wellness Center on 1130 Duval Street has the perfect monthly offering. “Let’s Tea Party” starts Saturday, March 25th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, with this month’s gathering featuring holistic entrepreneur Karen Moore of Zen jewelry, with complimentary organic tea and special discounts on retail and services.

“The Green Pineapple is always working on ways to create space for the community to come together and experience positive, uplifting events,” says Moore, who helps run the center on Saturdays. “Who doesn’t love a tea party?”

The Green Pineapple Wellness Center, established by owner Debi Lippi in 2011, hosts a boutique, organic café, life coaching office, the Key West Yoga Sanctuary yoga studio, and the Anahara Spa, to help support the art of living well, inside and out. Lippi’s staff and the Center’s fellow business owners work to create opportunities for locals and visitors to nourish their bodies, minds, and souls with the products, services, workshops, and creative events they offer. Moore sees the Green Pineapple’s ‘Let’s Tea Party’ as a friendly stage for local healthy lifestyle entrepreneurs, creatives, business owners, artists, and teachers to share their work and message.

“Let’s Tea Party” will also be an opportunity to shop exclusive products and gain access to special offers on products and services from the featured guest. Moore and her line of holistic gemstone jewelry will kick off the first “Let’s Tea Party.” She will also offer a brief presentation on setting intentions by using jewelry and physical objects as a tool in doing so.

Attendees will also receive a 20% discount on the boutique’s retail products and Anahara Spa services. 10% of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the “Embody Love” Program for teen girls, which offers free workshops to help them change the way they feel, think, and speak to themselves and others about their body image and beauty.

The gathering will run the last Saturday of each month throughout the year, offering opportunities for year-round locals to enjoy the space, the perks, and each other. Save the Dates: March 25/ Karen Moore, April 29, May 27, June 24, July 29, August 26, closed in September, October 28, November 25, December 30.

““Let’s Tea Party” is an opportunity to come, relax, and just be in the moment. It’s a dedicated time to connect with friends, both old and hopefully new,” says Moore. “We want people to share the energy of the space and to have the opportunity to spread the message of living well.”
