Old Island Restoration Foundation and Key West Botanical Garden Society combine for a look at life on our little island. Friday 13^th and Saturday 14^th from 10 am to 4pm, doors are open to seven beautiful Key West private homes at 5 locations. “Reusing” old houses was a tradition on Key West long before the environmental movement.  One transformed featured home is even solar powered! Tickets are available in advance and during tour hours.

The “green” theme overlaps with GardenFest at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden on Saturday 14^th andSunday 15^th, 10am to 4pm.  Eco-friendly green products, services and conservation tips mix with vendors offeringnative and exotic plants and nature-themed arts & crafts.  There’s something for the whole family to enjoy: “Kids Science Corner”, live music, food and “Courtyard Beer Garden”!  Admission is free for this event.
