Domestic Violence Awareness Month

domestic violence

In America today, one in four women and one in seven men suffer physical violence at the hands of a loved one.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, but you County Clerk provide assistance to domestic violence victims year-round. We understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion. Domestic violence affects all Floridians and your Court Clerks are determined to protect community members and lend a helping hand for those in need of domestic violence assistance. We work very closely with local law enforcement and the County’s Domestic Violence Shelter to ensure that both safety and justice are achieved for victims and their families when a domestic violence incident occurs.

Don’t stay silent. Take Action. Visit the Monroe County Clerk’s Website or FCCC.com to learn how to get help and put a stop to domestic violence.
