Womankind’s Croquet Tournament, March 21-22
Womankind’s 10th Annual Croquet Tournament on Mr. Ed Knight’s gorgeous oceanfront estate is taking place this weekend! On Saturday, March 21st, from 9am-1:pm, for only $15 you can gain entry to his private island off of South Roosevelt Ave, watch the croquet games, and eat bagels from Goldman’s Deli and then a boxed lunch including a croissant sandwich provided by Cole’z Peace. Enjoy Bloody Marys, Mimosas and a few other tasty concoctions at the cash bar. Everyone is asked to dress in white—but “Key West Casual White” is fine.
The following day, Sunday, March 22nd, from 5:pm until 9:pm, the croquet finalists battle it out for the coveted trophy and everyone celebrates with a dinner (including carving stations) catered by the New York Pasta Garden, an open bar, silent auction, fun raffle prizes and dancing under the stars. Your $100 ticket will help Womankind provide affordable health care to locals. If you’d like to compete in the games, the cost for players is $200 EACH and $400 for a team.
This elegant party is sponsored by Justin and Eileen Kawaler. Mr. Ed Knight generously opens his grounds to us as well as keeping his lawn “croquet-ready” all year long.
If you have any questions, call Womankind Assistant Director Cali Roberts at (305) 320-0608.
Tickets are available at www.keystix.com as well as at the door.
