Elevate your romance or blast away your post-Valentine’s Day blues with your favorite burlesque performers as Key West Burlesque and guest stars present “Key West, We Love You: A Love-Filled Revue” on Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17 at Key West Theater, 512 Eaton Street. The dazzling extravaganza incorporates the love of all things Key West in a follies-style storyline of high energy, humor, and glamour that takes the crowd inside the lives and loves of the Southernmost city.

“The show is jam-packed with love and over-the-top, excellent performances,” says Key West Burlesque producer Christa Hunt.

Set to classic love songs, the revue stars some of the nation’s all-time favorite performers including The Evil Hate Monkey, Kitten N’ Lou, Murray Hill, and Key West’s local favorites Moana Amour, Cheeky Derrière, Chief Peach, Velvet Garcia, and Dark N’ Stormy.

Special to the show are Kitten N’ Lou, a duo that have been voted the number one burlesque performers in the world for several years running, recently performing with the likes of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. Lou Henry Hover is this year’s reigning king of Burlesque and a performer that “blows people away with his costuming and stage presence,” says Hunt. The classically-trained, over-the-top drag king and his stage partner Kitten La Rue offer an entertaining combination of burlesque, drag, dance, and theater to make a performance that has been called “brilliantly deranged” (Time Out New York) and “genius” (The Huffington Post).

And what’s not to love about the hilarious, banana-throwing Evil Hate Monkey- darling of the international circus and cabaret scene- who will sing, dance en pointe, and wow the crowd with his gut busting, side-splitting performances that combine striptease, trapeze, and cabaret.

Don’t miss this twisted vision of love and happiness a la burlesque.  Get your tickets now.

Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8:00pm. Sponsored in part by the Monroe County Tourist Development Council.  Tickets:  thekeywesttheater.com or call 305.985.0433.
