The Mike Veal Band, Atlanta’s favorite party band brings its energy and excitement to the Hog’s Breath Saloon, 400 Front St., Jan. 23 – 29, rocking the night stage from 5:30 – 9:30 pm.
The band plays a hot combination of blues, rock, and funk. Diverse musical backgrounds and regional influences color each member’s contribution to the tight sound for which the band is admired.

Carter Brothers Band
is back at the Hog’s Breath Saloon
Danny and Tim Carter return to the late-night shift spot, 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. on the outdoor stage at the Hog’s Breath Saloon, 400 Front St., Jan. 23 – 29.
The Carter Brothers bring an eclectic sound to the Hog, including rock, folk, blues, country, and bluegrass. Danny and Tim are looking forward to playing selections from their new CDs for their Key West friends and fans. Tim is just back from a European tour.

Nicolas Tweedy will appear Thursdays, through March 2nd, doors open at 8 pm, at the Hog Breath Saloon’s upstairs Writers’ Room. Prices for the unique show for locals with Monroe County ID are $10. Tickets at the door for others is $20.
Tweedy’s show is not at all what you expect from a magic show. He is a mentalist first and magician second. You are going see some of the most unbelievable demonstrations of levitations, mind-reading and body language interpretation skills in the world.
Nicholas Tweedy is one of those rare performers that not only amaze his audiences with his modern and unique approach to his craft; he connects with his audience leaving even the most die-hard skeptics entertained. With Nick it’s creating and performing illusions so real that people stop worrying about the how’s and start having fun.

Tweedy performed six times in Australia’s largest performing art festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival.
