Local troubadour Joel Nelson plays the at the Hog’s Breath Saloon outdoor stage Dec. 21 – 22, from 1 – 5 p.m.
Nelson has been a popular afternoon entertainer at the Hog’s Breath for some time now, so stop by and see why he helps fill the restaurant and bar during the luncheon afternoons.
Billy Nemec Duo returns to
the Hog’s Breath Saloon
Billy Nemec, lead guitarist of The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn, an early jazz, swing group , returns to Key West’s Hog’s Breath Saloon, 400 Front St., Dec. 19 – 24, playing the mid-shift gig, 5:30 – 9:30 pm.
The popular East Coast guitarist plays a repertoire of witty songs from ‘20s and ‘30s that he augment with original tunes that are moving yet often with bawdy lyrics and catchy four-part vocal harmony.
Andy Westcott Band
Plays the Hog’s Breath
The Andy Westcott Band plays the Hog’s Breath Saloon, Dec. 19 – 25, 10 pm – 2 am.
Westcott and his band have covered the Midwest from Wisconsin to North Dakota and has made regular appearances throughout the south and northeast including Nashville, Asheville, Key West, Miami, Philly, Boston, and even across the Caribbean to San Juan, Grand Turk Island and Aruba. Lead singer /songwriter and guitarist Andy Westcott comes from a strong Blues and Alt-Country background and it shows in his soulful voice and wicked guitar playing. In 2015 Andy played the Bonnaroo Festival Miller Lite stage and since then he has relocated to Key West to write and record, as he is getting ready to release a new record in 2017 and set out on tour again.
