“Custom” Made in the Florida Keys
“Custom” Made in the Florida Keys— Items archived in the Custom House Museum provide a unique “bridge” to the history of the island. Here we give nod to the upcoming birthday anniversary (March 26) of Tennessee Williams with Tennessee Williams’ Dental Bridge Mold, c1980s, a plaster cast of Williams’ bottom jaw with twelve embedded porcelain teeth, donated by Dr. Bill Williams.
This historical object is one of thousands carefully archived and newly exhibited online at KWAHS.ORG/Collections. Help protect and sustain the collection with a tax-deductible donation at KWAHS.ORG/support/ or donate a Florida Keys historical object at KWAHS.ORG/collections/donating-objects/ or by contacting Curator Cori Convertito, PhD at 305.295.6616 x 112.
