Mystery Fest Guests May Haunt with Heather
Lovers of mystery and mysterious hauntings take note: New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Heather Graham is slated to co-host a Saturday evening ramble with Sloan’s Haunted Key West during the upcoming Mystery Writers Key West Fest, set for June 10-12.
All Fest registrants, participating authors and their guests will have first-come, first serve opportunity to explore infamous Old Town hauntings on Saturday, June 11, with Michael Jensen – also known as the Principal of Paranormal Paradigms for the popular supernatural stroll, and Graham, wildly popular author of more than 100 novels and novellas in genres that include paranormal mystery/suspense, vampire fiction, historical romance, time travel and even Christmas family fare.
The prolific author, who has more than seventy-five million books in print, published in more than twenty languages, admits to a passion for Cayo Hueso. She has dived for treasure on the Spanish galleon Atocha, sang from the stage at Smokin Tuna Saloon, slept in Robert the Doll’s bedroom at the Artist House and has set multiple of her paranormal mystery novels here.
Her “Bone Island Trilogy” of books, “Ghost Shadow,” “Ghost Moon,” and “Ghost Night” all take place on the island, and her 2014 novel, “The Cursed,” is set in Key West and involves the haunted “Siren of the Sea,” B&B, a murder, salvagers, a sunken ship and a curse. Will Graham reveal which B&B inspired “Siren of the Sea” during the ghost tour? That remains a mystery for now.
Set to appear with Graham at the Mystery Writers Key West Fest are some two dozen high-profile and award winning mystery and crime fiction authors and true-crime experts, including keynote speaker, New York Times bestselling author Robert K.
