Open Letter to County Commissioners & County Manager
Greetings County Commissioners & County Manager,
May this note find you in the best of health and spirits. The proposed construction of a FKCC building in Key Largo, adjacent to the Jacobs Aquatic Park is not a good idea.
It will rob that extensive and well established community of the ethos, charm and residential viability for which the residents purchased their homes. In addition; the peace, quiet and safety of the park will be destroyed by this mammoth construction, parking and traffic nightmare.
All of the ‘Home Owners Associations’ that I’ve spoken with are against it.
Having served as an Adjunct Professor with the college, the building is not necessary. The depth, brilliance and impeccability of the instructor before his/her students, is what makes the difference each and every time.
With Blessings & Respect,
John Donnelly
