Tennessee Williams Exhibit to Present Film Series

During the month of March, The Tennessee Williams Exhibit and the Tropic Cinema will screen three classic films at 6pm Monday nights at the Tropic Cinema. The films series, based on plays and a novel by the famed writer Tennessee Williams, includes: March 7, “The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone”starring Vivien Leigh and Warren Beatty; March 14, “The Fugitive Kind” starring Marlon Brando, Anna Magnani, and Joanne Woodward; March 21, “Summer and Smoke” with Laurence Harvey, Geraldine Page, and Rita Moreno.

On Monday, March 28, at 6;00pm., a film forum “Everything in his life is in his plays and everything in his plays is in his life” will complete the series with a discussion led by film critic Shirrel Rhoades.
