The Florida Keys have long been known as a safe harbor for nonconformists, adventurers and ne’er-do-wells. On Saturday, June 18, from 6 to 8pm, one local character who embodies all of these traits and more, author Reef Perkins, will debut his latest book, “Deep Air” at Grand Vin, 1107 Duval Street.

In “Deep Air,” Perkins’ third book, a blow-up sex doll, gems and beer are catalysts for an outlandish misadventure rolled out in the author’s signature style.

Michael Haskins, author of the Mick Murphy Key West Mystery series says, “If you enjoy Carl Hiaasen’s books, you’re going to love Perkins’ rendition of life in the Florida Keys.”
