Opening Soon at Marathon Community Theatre

Bathroom Humor bending: Trish Hintze, Jessica Young, Nancy Smith, Neil Anguilo

Marathon, FL – The final mainstage production of the season at Marathon Community Theatre is scheduled to open May 4 and run through May 21, 2017. Bathroom Humor is a hilarious farce written by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, also the authors of Love, Sex and the I.R.S.

The entire play takes place in the bathroom of a swanky home during an office party. Everyone feels obligated to attend even though most would rather not be there. To escape the drunks and usual dumb party games, the place to “go” (pardon the pun) is the bathroom! All the latest gossip about co-workers and spouses, not-so-secret affairs and wardrobe malfunctions are discussed in the bathroom. There’s even a down-on-his-luck Elvis impersonator in attendance!

As you sit in the audience, you’ll be thinking…. ‘If I were at this party, I too would spend the time hiding out in the bathroom…’ You will never look at a bathtub, guacamole dip or plant food in the same light again.

Play dates are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays beginning May 4 with a Sunday matinee closing performance scheduled for May 21. All performances begin promptly at 8:00 p.m. The matinee begins at 3:00 p.m.
