Dawn Martin received a check from Kelly Friend, President of OIRF. This payment was a grant to assist in storm-hardening the windows of the Hellings House, the brick Victorian mansion at 319 Duval that has served as home for the Women’s Club since 1940.

Funds to support preservation of historic structures are raised through Old Island Restoration Foundation’s annual “House Tour” series. Homes are currently being selected for the up-coming season.
