Marathon Library Reopens With Completion of Hurricane Repairs

MARATHON, FL –The Marathon Library reopened this morning.

This branch of the Monroe County Library System had been closed for the past few weeks due to damage suffered by Hurricane Irma. Repairs have been completed to the power equipment, air conditioning and roof.

Library staff look forward to welcoming everyone back.

All fines and fees for late or lost library materials will be waived. Just mention “Irma” at the circulation desk.

Patrons Richard and Lois Foley are happy the Marathon Library has reopened after being closed for weeks due to damage from Hurricane Irma.
