Books and baked goods! The first Palm Garden Book Sale of the year will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9:30a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Palm Garden next to the Key West Library, 700 Fleming St. A great opportunity to stock up on Christmas gifts for readers on your list. This first sale has a great selection of books, especially about art, biography, food, history, hobbies/pets, mysteries, and nature/geography categories. Children’s and coffee-table books are at super low prices. Lots of DVDs and CDs! Most fiction is a dollar a book.

Proceeds go to the library’s programs, books and equipment. Future sales are on Jan. 9, and subsequently, the first Saturdays, Feb.-Apr. Also, check out the ongoing in-library book sales.
