Tickets go on sale June 1 for Key West BrewFest, the annual Labor Day weekend event that draws beer lovers to the Southernmost City and raises money for college scholarships and other worthy local causes supported by Key West Sunrise Rotary.

This will be the eighth year the club has sponsored the popular fundraising event that includes beer brunches, dinners and parties. The Signature Tasting Festival with samples of nearly 200 beers will be held on Saturday, Sept. 2, on South Beach at the Southernmost Beach Resort. The Key West Sunrise Rotary Club in the Conch Republic, established in 1988, provides community service, supports charities and funds college scholarships through events including BrewFest and a golf tournament. The club meets on Fridays at 7 a.m. at the Marriott Beachside Hotel.
