A graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, watercolorist Wayne Lind has more than forty years experience in the art and design fields. His long career in advertising and design included operating his own sign design company in Norwood, Massachusetts. Wayne’s strong interest in the arts and his early experiences drawing the wildlife photographs he saw in his father’s Field and Stream magazines provided a basis for his later works. Wayne divided his time between Greensboro, Vermont and Melbourne, Florida before settling in Key West several years ago. All these locales rejuvenate his passion for capturing vibrant colors and reflective light which provide inspiration for his works of art.Mr. Lind paints primarily in watercolor and his artwork graces numerous private and corporate collections and galleries in Key West and Melbourne, Florida. One-man shows in Vermont and Key West showcase his versatility and command of his chosen medium.

This exhibit is part of a series of Featured Artist shows by member artists at the Key West Art Center, a non-profit community art gallery located at 301 Front Street, and open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. Call (305) 294-1241 or visit www.KeyWestArtCenter.com for more information.
