Starting Monday, September 14 through Thursday, September 17, Truman Avenue between White Street and Whitehead Street will be completely closed in both directions from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m. to allow for final paving operations.

Cross street traffic will only be allowed on Whitehead Street, White Street and Eisenhower Drive. Detours will route traffic on Palm Avenue and White Street going downtown and on Whitehead Street from downtown. However, when the intersections at Whitehead Street or White Street are being paved, traffic will be detoured around them.

No parking will be permitted on Truman Avenue between Whitehead Street and Eisenhower Drive at any time, September 14-17. Residents and businesses along and around Truman Avenue within the closure zone will need to use side street parking.

For your safety and the safety of others, please be careful when driving, walking or biking in the construction zone. Speed limit will be strictly enforced. We apologize for any problems or issues that may arise, and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this important project.
