Final Days of Suzie dePoo Exhibit: The Art of Handprinting

The Key West Art & Historical Society exhibits Suzi dePoo: The Art of Hand Printing at their Custom House Museum until Friday, January 2, 2015. Visitors will learn how Key West Hand Print Factory, under the direction of local artist Suzie dePoo, became one of the most recognized industries in Key West during the late 20th century and was directly linked to fashion icon Lilly Pulitzer’s success. The exhibit also features how the handprints were made, with a colorful array of examples from the Factory’s heyday.
