The Matecumbe Historical Trust invites you a very special presentation on Monday, March 20th beginning at 6:30 pm at Island Community Church. Our friend, Professor Seth Bramson, the only person in the country who bears the official title of Company Historian with an American railroad, will present, for the first time ever shown in public: The F E C Extension Series Postcards. This is his first-ever power point presentation in which he will show us the nearly complete series from his collection (he has all but two of the 45 published) of those very hard-to-find black and white postcards, which are one of the many highlights of his incredible collection.

You will also have the opportunity to discuss Key West Extension history with him. He has written four books on the history of that famous railroad and his book “The Greatest Railroad Story Ever Told: Henry Flagler and the Florida East Coast Railway’s Key West Extension” is the first and only complete history of that incredible project.
