unnamed

1st Annual Conch Revival Picnic
Saturday, August 27 from 6:30PM-9:30PM
Key West Armory
$35/children under 12 free

With Mother Nature stirring up tropical disturbance Invest 99-L and unpredictable weather ahead, the first annual Conch Revival Picnic, set for 6:30 – 9:30 pm this Saturday, August 27, is being relocated from Fort East Martello to a spacious indoor venue, at the historic Key West Armory building, 600 White Street.

Hours and classic conch menu will remain exactly the same and all ticket holders will receive one complimentary drink. In the interest of avoiding lines in the rain, the 20 tickets previously being held for door walk-ups are now available online via the Key West Art & Historical Society website at kwahs.org. For more information call Shawn Cowles, Society Operations Manager at 305.295.6616 x 111. Your Museums. Your Community. It takes an Island.

If you’ve been in the Keys for any length of time, chances are you’ve had your fair share of tasty key lime pie and conch chowder. But what about the ultimate chilao or the Queen of all Puddings? Now is your chance to have your taste of these things and more at the Conch Revival Picnic— a heritage dinner presented by KWAHS and Isle Cook Key West featuring a cornucopia of classic Key West/Conch recipes. *Members receive VIP access, which includes an open bar and hors d’vourse, from 5:30PM-6:00PM. The exhibit opens to the general public at 6:00PM. Not a member? Join today and see what all the fuss is about!
