On May 27th, a group of Sheriff’s deputies organized a dog wash event in Marathon to raise money for the Marathon SPCA. Deputies Jamie Buxton, Michelle Swilley, Debbie Johnson, Jose Hernandez and Sgt. Spenser Bryan raised $810 washing dogs. They were helped out by a number of community volunteers who turned out for the fun event.
