Homeowner on Lower Matecumbe Key at the 77 mile marker of the highway called this morning around 7:30 to report finding this 8ft crocodile in his swimming pool. Sheriff’s Office and Fish and Wildlife officers worked together and the crocodile was safely removed and returned to the ocean.
