Call for Vendors: Mel Fisher Days’ Street Festival and Free Concert on Duval

Florida Keys, Key West– This year’s Mel Fisher Days Rockin’ Block Party and street festival will take place Saturday, July 11, on the 200 and 300 blocks of Duval Street in Key West. Event organizers are calling for retail Vendors for this event.

This year marks the 30^th anniversary of Mel Fisher’s famous discovery of Atocha’s Mother Lode in 1985. 80s rocker and founding member of Night Ranger, Jeff Watson, will headline the free concert on stage at the Rockin’ Block Party on Duval Street in addition to Suenalo of the famous Green Parrot Bar, along with a host of bands and performers. VIP Backstage passes are available. The block party will also feature a classic car show, dunk tank, games for the kids, huge silent auction, food, drinks and more. Event organizer will also announce and award the winners of the Amazing Mel Fisher Treasure Hunt with their prize of $5,000 paid out in a treasure chest filled with 5,000 US currency silver collar coins on stage during the street festival.

This event does not take a percentage of vendor sales. 100% net proceeds from all Mel Fisher Days events benefit Wesley House Family Services, Inc. The event is free and open to the public.
